Well - finally got this one built up and running, exactly to customers specifications :)
This is a store listing for a brand new USB Input Controller PCB V2.1 , suitable for a multitude of applications, including custom wiring harness switch controllers for computer applications eg - MAME, as it was specifically designed for use with MAME compatible systems, but has since be redeveloped for a number of industrial uses, in slightly different formats. This unit is best suited to applications which do not require very long cable runs (ie less than 2-3m in length) If you need something that caters to long cable runs then please see the V1.0 unit which has RC filtering on each switch line - available in the store
This unit features new screw terminal connectors - all at .1" pitch in banks of 10 pins - specially manufactured for this purpose, making this one of the smallest and high performing boards on the market.
The PCB is a plug and play compatible USB keyboard interface device which only needs connecting up to a number of witches or TTL drivers that are required to control applications requiring a keyboard or keyapd.
The version supplied comes complete with manual and a set of connectors and pins so that you can integrate the board into your own development. The board connects to a standard PCor MAC using a normal A-B USB cable - available as an extra., on request, in various lengths.
Special custom wiring harnesses are available on request to customers specification, expecially with the JST crimp connector versions of this unit for an OEM application.
