This is an antique ephemera lot of 1800's and 1900's books, almanacs, ads, catalogues and the like. This lot consists of two Antique 1900's medical booklets. The old handbook is titled Notes on Gynaecological Nursing by Felicie Norton. It is a pocket size guidebook 5 inches by 3.5 inches. There are 96 pages. The lettering on cover and back is fading and there is some discoloration, showing the signs of age. The medical device catalog selling trusses, braces, and supports is also intact though shows signs of age with small, tears, folds as pictured above. It has 48 pages.
The Rand Mcnally Hudson River Guide book is missing pullout maps, but is otherwise complete. The 1934 Union County map and index both pull out and seem to be in fine condition but the front and back cover flaps shows signs of age with tears and stains, as pictured above. The Textiles book by Pacific Mills also has some discoloration, stains, and a tear near top of book from the binding, but is otherwise fine, just usual signs of age.
The copy of Beadle's Dime Dialogues No. 25 published in 1879. The cover is in rough condition and shows signs of age, as pictured above, and has frayed edges and is shedding pieces. The cover and table of contents have been separated from the rest of the booklet, and the table of contents is torn horizontally as seen in photo above. The rest of the booklet is intact, but may be missing the final pages. The last page pictured above is what I believe to be page 94, as I saw in an archive through a google search, which means the next three pages, front and back, to page 100 are missing. The 1872 US Almanac For Merchants, Mechanics, Farmers and General Family Use is old, and worn, and appears to have burn marks on the pages. The book appears to be fully intact with all pages. The 1857 Vermont Directory and Commercial Almanac By W. W. Atwater is old and worn and show signs of age. Booklet has some stains and discoloration and the section of Feb-April is separated from binding, but still present inside. There are hand written notes found in memoranda sections.
