1962 regular-size Zippo windproof lighter with a U.S.S. Ashland LSD-1 ship illustration and red lettering on a silver/chrome case. The reverse is plain. Includes the removable mechanical flint/wick insert; the base and insert markings are photographed. The case has scratches, scuffs, spotting and edge wear, with small marks on the narrow sides. The insert and chimney show discoloration and deposits from use. A dock-landing-ship design for an Ashland, naval memorabilia or vintage Zippo collection. No box or separate accessories are shown.
