* Manufacturing Origin: Stamped \"Factory No. 1307, 3d Dist. N.Y.\", verifying production by Kaufmann Bros. & Bondy at their historic facility on 38th St & 1st Ave in Manhattan, New York.
* Capacity & Taxation: Stamped for 50 cigars. Features an intact, original U.S. Internal Revenue series tax stamp caution notice warning against the re-use of the box, complete with the faded, distressed illustrative portrait of Columbia / Lady Liberty.Condition:
Excellent antique condition for an item over 140 years old. The cedar wood structure is remarkably solid with tight nailed joints and no major splits or warping.
