Front reads "CORNELL SENIOR LAW SMOKER 1905" above the scales of justice, beside a graduate in cap and gown smoking a long pipe and holding a mug marked "C." Red arrow decoration on the handle; underside marked "10."Approximate measurements: 4.5" tall, 4" diameter. Glaze shows light crazing throughout, consistent with age (see photos).Excellent antique condition with zero chips, cracks, or structural hairline fractures. A great piece for Cornell, law school, or early-1900s collegiate memorabilia collectors. These mugs were commissioned for Cornell Law School's traditional “Smoker" social gatherings in the early 1900s.
