Antique 1920s Jonteel Manicure Set Beautiful Hands Bird of Paradise Original Box For Sale

Ever wonder how women in the 1920s took care of their nails? Check out this remarkably rare, antique 1920s Jonteel "Beautiful Hands" Manicure Set in its original presentation box. This Art Deco vanity set features the famous Jonteel "Bird of Paradise" logo with colorful graphics against a stark black background, opening up to a vibrant marigold-yellow interior. Set includes the original presentation box, two original milk glass jars, one original opaque glass bottle of cuticle solvent in its original box, one original nail polish box (nail polish was removed at some point), 7 emory boards, and the original informational insert. The presentation box features the "Beautiful Hands" script and full-color lid emblem. The two glass jars come complete with their original decorated lids, including "Nail Creme" and "Nail Bleach". Both still contain some of their original contents. The nail solvent bottle is stoppered with a cork, so the contents evaporated over time and the bottle contains powdery residue. Sold strictly as a historical collectible/display piece, not for cosmetic use.A fantastic, highly displayable piece of history perfect for salon decor or collectors of vintage cosmetics and nail care, Art Deco vanity items, or early 20th-century advertising.The box shows typical antique shelf wear, edge scuffing, and minor structural wear consistent with its 100-year age. There are two 3-cent postage stamps stuck on the bottom. The interior of the nail solvent box and the yellow cardboard dividers have minor staining/discoloration due to product leaking at some point. The glass jars and bottle are intact with no cracks or major chips. The glass bottle has its original cork. The labels on the jar lids show minor fading, and the label on the nail creme is peeling on one side. The booklet shows some surface wear and handling, but the cover graphic remains sharp.
