Selected Views of New Orieans
Photo book published by the ALBERTYPE Company of Brooklyn NY
The book is not dated but based on some research of the photos dates to around 1908 - 1910 as two of the buildings were rebuilt/renamed in 1908 - the Hotel Monteleone was renovated and renamed in 1908 and a 14 story addition of the Hotel Grunewald was completed in 1908 as well (and the photo shows the new building)
Most of the photos are securely attached at all corners but on photo is now attached only by one edge.
Most of the photos are full page but the last sheet has half size photos. On the last page the photos are double sided but the back side appears to be missing one - there’s only one photo and it’s off to the side where another one would have fit.

An Albertype is a picture printed from a type of gelatine-coated plate produced by means of a photographic negative. The process was invented by Josef Albert, a German photographer who owned and directed a studio and photo lab in Augsburg, Germany. The technique is similar to collotype, but substitutes the gel plate for the lithographic stone used in collotype.
