Chopper Command straps you into a helicopter armed with laser cannons on a mission to seek and destroy enemy choppers and jets. For every craft you bring down you'll earn points (100 for choppers and 200 for jets), but your score isn't the only thing motivating you. It seems a friendly convoy of trucks is being repeatedly attacked from the air. You must protect these convoys and wipe out all hostile threats. To do this, you'll need to watch the Long Range Scanner at the bottom of the screen, noting the white blips of the enemy in the air and the trucks on the ground.Each wave consists of 12 trucks to protect and twelve enemies to eliminate. Clear the wave and nine more will follow, each faster than the last. You can also earn more choppers (up to six in total) for every 10,000 points you accumulate. Besides moving up and down, your chopper can turn 180 degrees by pressing the joystick either left or right, allowing you to blast enemies attacking from the opposite direction. Two challenge levels are also available (Cadet and Commando), and players can alter their chopper's rate of fire by flipping the difficulty switches. This game has been untested.
