Fans of neck knives will love the Papoose by Citadel. Light and sharp almost too awesome to use, but you will once you put it your hand. With a few fingers, your utility cuts will be quick and precise. The notched spine permits your thumb to get in on the action of cutting. The rough scaled blade is accented by the buffalo horn handle, inox ring with red fiber spacer and nickel silver rivet. This is a knife you want hanging around your neck for those handy moments when you need a knife.
The high carbon steel blade is hand forged from imported XC75 carbon steel, and differentially hardened in the Japanese style. This hardening process creates a hard, durable edge and a softer more resilient spine and tang. The blade is sharpened to a full convex profile which greatly increases the durability of the hardened edge.
A full grain leather neck knife sheath is included. As XC75 is a high-carbon steel the knife should not be stored in the leather sheath for a long period of time; a nylon zipper storage pouch is included for long-term storage instead.

*XC75is a tough non stainless steel that is susceptible to corrosion if not well mainatined. The differential hardening produces a fine working blade that holds an edge extremely well.
