The five complete newspaper editions are housed in the original black portfolio folder featuring a white illustration of Abraham Lincoln and the title “5 MORE COMMEMORATIVE EDITIONS FROM The CIVIL WAR – THE COMPLETE NEWSPAPERS AS PUBLISHED BY The New-York Times.”
The set includes:
July 15, 1863 – New York Draft Riots
November 19, 1863 – Gettysburg Address
September 2, 1864 – Sherman Enters Atlanta
November 8, 1864 – Lincoln Re-elected
April 13, 1865 – The Meeting at Appomattox
Each issue is a full-size, complete newspaper reproduction printed on quality paper to match the original format and content of The New-York Times. These are high-quality commemorative replicas produced for collectors and history enthusiasts, offering the authentic look and feel of the historic editions without the fragility or rarity of genuine Civil War newspapers.
Ideal for Civil War collectors, history buffs, educators, display, or as a unique gift. The newspapers remain in excellent readable condition and are protected in the original presentation folder.
Please note: These are modern commemorative reprints/facsimiles, not original 19th-century newspapers.
