To accomplish most of the objectives, one must exercise good strategic planning for both covert operations and open strikes. The RPG element is also very strong, with an extensive story line, a mystery to solve, and a multitude of characters with their own ambitions. These characters can either become the hero's friends or foes.
Superior technology brings players a whole new range of possibilities never before seen in comparable games. Many of the characters' attributes and all equipment are precisely visualized in the game modes, letting the player visually assess the strength of adversaries. A free-motion camera may zoom in to show wrinkles on an adversary's forehead, introduce elements of action to the game, or zoom out to show positions and actions of all units in a classical strategy fashionall enriched with beautiful 3-D graphics.
