This is a substantial mixed lot of English-language Pokémon manga paperbacks published by Viz Media / Viz Kids.
The collection includes volumes from multiple related series and arcs based on the Pokémon video games:
Pokémon Adventures (early Red/Blue era, story by Hidenori Kusaka, art by Mato): Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Adventure! (by Shigekatsu Ihara): Volumes 1–4.Pokémon Adventures: Diamond and Pearl / Platinum (story by Hidenori Kusaka, art by Satoshi Yamamoto): Volumes 1–5 of the Platinum arc, plus later Adventures volumes approximately 11–16 (Ruby & Sapphire / Emerald-style covers).Pokémon Adventures: Black and White (Kusaka / Yamamoto): Volumes 1, 2, and 3.
All are standard trade paperback format from Viz. All volumes are first editions (first printings) with the exception of three books: Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Adventure! Volumes 1, 2, and 4 by Shigekatsu Ihara. The remaining volumes (early Adventures 1–6 & 8–9, Diamond and Pearl/Platinum 1–5, later Adventures volumes ~11–16, and Black and White 1–3) are first editions.
The books appear to be previously read, with typical used condition: page edges show some yellowing/age consistent with the photos, while spines and covers look largely intact with normal shelf wear. Exact volume count is approximately 26 books and are all laid-out in the photos.
No major damage such as torn covers or missing pages is evident in the provided pictures, but condition varies slightly by volume as expected in a mixed used lot.
These are popular Viz editions of the long-running Pokémon Adventures manga (and the related Diamond and Pearl Adventure! series), ideal for fans collecting the English releases, completing runs, or reselling individual volumes. The lot spans several major game arcs from the late 2000s–early 2010s era of the series. The mostly first-edition status is a nice detail for collectors of the Viz English printings.
The books are ready to read or display. Buyers should review the pictures provided with the posting to determine the actual condition of the item, as the item in the pictures is what you would receive.
