Jane’s F/A-18 Simulator, PC big box, Electronic Arts’ Jane’s Combat Simulations line, 2000. Developed in cooperation with the U.S. Navy for accuracy, this is one of the more detailed carrier-based flight sims ever made, and Jane’s Combat Simulations folded not long after this release, so complete big-box copies like this are getting harder to come by. Puts you in the cockpit of the F/A-18E Super Hornet with a fully functional virtual cockpit, catapult launches, arrested landings, and a branching campaign.
Used. Box has notable damage — the top flap has separated at the seam and been reinforced with tape (see photos). Graphics and printing on the box are otherwise vibrant, no major fading. All paper inserts (Flight Manual, key guides, install guide) are clean and complete, no writing or damage. Disc is clean, untested, no visible scratches.
Includes: outer big box, game CD in jewel case, spiral-bound Flight Manual, install guide booklet, fold-out keyboard reference card, spiral-bound “Casual Key Guide,” and the original Jane’s/EA registration mailer envelope.
