From the 2024 USPS stamps celebrating the world\'s preeminent role playing game, this Dungeons and Dragons stamp measures approximately 1 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches. It is the only stamp from the collection that featured classic artwork from the games Golden Age. Commonly referred to as \"Ancient Red,\" the image originally adorned the box and interior booklets to the D&D Basic Rules set (released in 1983) and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and enduring images in the history of D&D and tabletop RPG art.
The stamp is unused, is affixed to the original wax surface it came on from the stamp sheet (which itself has been cropped from the larger sheet) and will be shipped with the utmost care. Best of all, it is actually signed by hand by Larry Elmore himself. Please note- the signature is real. It is the actual, hand-signed signature of Larry Elmore. It is not a pre-printed image on the stamp. Given the glossy nature of the stamp, the signature, while clear, did not take as well as it could have. Still, a very cool item and signed by one of the true legends of the game!
