Extracted from a massive photographer’s estate in Clearwater Florida in 2014. The George Fulmer studio & development Center was located next to our Clearwater courthouse for over 65 years before its demolition in 2015.
These are original items from that estate.
Recently after spending two years listing and selling individual items here on from the estate, I have delisted all of the 4 x 5 inch negatives as about half of them have now been placed with people who are digitizing them, or with individual collectors. The rest will be sold in larger lots like this, trying to move the rest out a little more quickly you are being offered some great deals so make sure and keep an eye on our store over the next couple of weeks
In this lot that you will receive 100 individual unique numbered packages from the photographers estate. Some packages will have one photograph and one negative and some will have two or maybe even several more. There will be a minimum of at least 200 negatives and 200 photographs in your order but exactly 100 unique numbered packages
The quantity is set at five so if you would like more than one lot of 100 packages, please increase the quantity you will get a discount when you do that
There were approximately 4000 envelopes and approximately 1800 remain. All range from 1951 to 1954 and all our events or landmarks in the Clearwater area take them by this photographer and then developed in his studio everything is in nice neat little packages in perfect condition
In the photos here you can see the previous listings where each package was being sold individually. Yes, you are getting an incredible deal and you can make money by reselling the items.
Be looking for more listings soon there will be larger lots available
Keep in mind you are not getting exactly what is shown in the photos this is a random lot but we will make sure to make it great!!
Comes with a COA from the estate!!
We want to get this photographers photos and story online, collected & preserved in as many places as possible. The items that you are buying were almost left behind for the landfill & The Clearwater historical society does little in my opinion to truly honor this man’s lifetime of work for this great city.
George Fulmer was a Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. He was also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2.
After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we had to sort through about 100,000 photographs & negatives to offer these items here. They were purchased on a contract separate from the building & copyright is not transferred
We hope to bring some recognition to his life's work, as well as to find homes for some parts of the history of an entire city, as documented by the city photographer.
Holding any piece from this collection will be rare.
