This sale is for two unopened canisters including the box and a rare typed warning note that was inside the box.

The five pictures showing the inside contents are from a canister that I opened to photograph for informational purpose only.

The canisters are in good shape considering their age, and having been stored in a damp basement for probably 60 years or so.
Everything looks good considering the age. Please look carefully at pictures before offerding.
The lighting here isn't the best for photos. The streaks of light that sometimes appear are a reflection, and not actually on the item.

Realizing that there are not many of these left in existence, my thought is that if you wanted to display what's inside,you could display the photos without opening one.

These items were found in the basement of the house I bought many years ago.
A previous owner of the house once owned an Army/Navy store, I believe until the late 50's/early 60's.
He has passed away many years ago, so I have no way to gather further information from him.
Please examine pictures closely and if you have any questions, please contact me before offerding.

The inside of the canister that I opened appears nearly perfect and the bottle inside is in great shape!
Even the corrugated piece of cardboard that protected the bottle was undamaged in the container that I opened.
A cardboard circle containing flexible tubing appears in great shape in the container that I opened.The typed message found tucked inside the box it still very clear.

The canisters are Army Green in color, 9.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide.

There is a tab on the side near the top, and a "spam" type key on the bottom of the can.

The tops of the cans have a five digit number stamped on them.
The canisters included in this purchase are stamped 22464 and 22212.

Since starting my inquiry of these canisters, I have had numerous collectors tell me that they were definitely used in WWII.

I did research plasma water and found websites which also confirms these were used in WWII.

Below is what I have copied from the canisters.
The capital/lower case lettering and hyphens are not my mistakes,
but are copied as they are on the canisters.

The canister side reads:

The emblem toward the top is too small for me to read.
