In 1917, Heorhiy Narbut began creating a set of Ukrainian playing cards commissioned by the state. However, the deck never saw the light of day. We decided it was time to bring this history out into the open, so we carried on the artist’s vision in collaboration with graphic artist Nadiia Hart. We preserved Narbut’s signature style while introducing modern design elements. These Ukrainian playing cards are perfect for gaming, collecting, or gifting—a piece of history you can finally play with. Inside, you will find a card explaining the identities of the characters.
A portion of the proceeds goes toward the restoration of the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
