Introducing the SPLATOON - HONG KONG SPLATFEST 2025 EXCLUSIVE COIN + LENTICULAR ART BOX!
Fams - hello - straight up , HK Splatfest for Splatoon 3 was held in HongKong 2025! The merchandise at this Splatfest were exclusive to the HK event.
Asian region Game related events / conventions have different collaboration laws / policies - to elaborate - Game companies oftentimes grant an X number of day license - usually the duration of an event - to skilled artists that produce faithful art / work for the given game / franchise.
So for Splatfest , Nintendo collaborated with specialized Artists who meet the quality check and whatever criteria , Artists were granted licenses to sell their approved and produced merchandise for the event - therefore the items in question are considered official since it was produced under license/contract with Nintendo of Asia in this case!
The outer box is black, has a golden etched like Splatoon splat logo! Opening the box, we see a beautiful very colored/detail Lenticular effect art print of some Female Squidlings! You tilt the art print in your hand and the image sort of moves/morphs - cool.Pirate themed hehe
To the right of the art print we have the coin nestled in - Front of coin features a piggy like thing with a bowtie with wording JACKPOT - we see smaller imagery of like 3 hot cross buns? (lol) and 2 mini star flag looking things - most likely something to do with the game but I am not familiar with (don't really play Splatoon personally). The Rear , has the same Splatfest logo as the front of the box - with a small wording copyright 2025 GamersLife!
Coin is medal - features a medium relief design (the graphics are slightly raised from the surface of the coin) - golden and shiny - measurements of all items shown
