Up for sale is an authentic original American Civil war pattern 1839 Union enlisted man’s Oval ‘US’ waist belt plate. This is a highly desirable early-war variant featuring the distinct ‘Puppy Paw’ arrow-shaped hooks on the back. This plate was acquired in SE Ohio and has been kept in a smoke free environment. Research I did on it shows to be from the Civil War era. 1839-1862. It weighs between 135 and 140 grams. It’s approximately 9.0 cm x 6.0 cm. I will ship this is a sturdy box with full tracking and Insurance. Signature required will be added upon delivery for security. It will be wrapped securely in bubble wrap to keep it from getting damaged. This item is being sold AS-IS as a historical Collectable.
