Original U.S. military M12 canvas gun and cradle cover, drawing number D31983.
This style of cover was designed to protect the Browning M1919A4 .30 caliber machine gun while mounted with its vehicle cradle.

Construction includes the original metal grommets, perimeter lacing cord and tie arrangement shown in the photos.
Approximate overall size is about 4 feet long and approximately 2 feet wide at the widest area. All measurements are approximate.
This listing is for the canvas cover only. No gun, cradle or other military equipment is included.
The cover shows genuine age and use including staining, discoloration, surface dirt and general wear. The attached paper tag also shows substantial age and wear but remains attached and readable.
I sell all collectibles as I find them in their original state. I have not attempted to clean or restore this item. Any cleaning or restoration is left entirely to the new owner.
