A rare opportunity to acquire a pair of genuine, matching-era pre-war Wilmot Breeden Calormeters (radiator temperature gauges) dating from the 1920s/1930s. Manufactured in Birmingham, England, these iconic motoring accessories were fitted to fine British marques of the period, including Austin, Morris, and Bentley.
Item 1 (Round Dial): Good display condition with exceptionally clear glass and sharp graphics (Freezing/Normal/Boiling). Complete with its highly desirable, original knurled black Bakelite radiator cap. The base is clearly stamped with Patent Numbers 238098 and 255236.
• Item 2 (Square Dial): Desirable square-bezel variant on a threaded mounting stem. Features a wonderful, “barn-find\" patina. The glass shows some period-typical internal damage & clouding.
