Pair of Antique French Cotton Toile Curtains in Brown/Cream For Sale

Pair of Antique French Toile Curtains in brown and cream colorway. They were bought in the \'90s at a Brussel\'s flea market. They are selfl ined, so two layers of medium weight cotton fabric. The printed words on selvedge are Versailles Selection and Grand Teint. Grand Teint is referring to the authentic French printing practice using colorfast dye and historic designs. Also known to withstand fading from washing and light. There are original hooks for hanging and can be gathered to desired amount with string at top of panel. They measure about 60\" wide at top, 66.5\" in length and 65.5\" in bottom width. There is some yellowing here and there but hard to notice when looking at whole curtain. There is one mended spot on edge of one of the curtains, shown in the pictures. Overall, in good condition for age of the curtains. They can be used as curtains or for sewing projects...pillows, children\'s comforter etc.... Order includes two matching curtains/panels.
