This is the foil/virgin presentation, featuring Pardee's unmistakable horror artwork against a predominantly black background. The cover depicts a masked figure framed inside the bloody jaws of a monster, creating one of the wildest and most visually distinctive SIKTC #49 covers.
Issue #49 was released in July 2026 and was the final regular issue before the milestone Something Is Killing the Children #50. The series is written by James Tynion IV with interior artwork by Werther Dell'Edera.
