Union Station Winnipeg MB Manitoba Vintage 1927 RPPC Streetcar Cars Postcard
Nothing makes a trip to the big city quite as memorable as having ten teeth pulled in a single week, which is the exact update the sender of this 1927 Real Photo Postcard shared with her friend back on a farm in Carbon, Alberta. The front features an elevated view of Union Station in Winnipeg, Manitoba, bustling with pedestrians, early touring automobiles parked along the curb, and a streetcar passing in front of the grand domed terminal. The divided back carries a May 30, 1927 Winnipeg postmark and a Help Red Cross slogan cancel over a green two cent King George V stamp.
This posted card shows honest age and postal wear, including a crease in the top left corner, soft corners, mild edge wear, and light age toning and bottom edge spotting on the reverse.
