Vintage 1962 Sports Car Club Of America SCCA Car Plaque for the Indianapolis 500 SCCA National Rally
Every car that completed the race was allowed to do one lap around the Indy 500 track at the end.
This plaque belonged to my father, a driver in that rally. He likely drove a Corvair in that rally.
The plaque is in very good condition. There is a pin hole at the top that has a small rust mark and some other minor scuff marks.
See photos. The plaque measures about 12" x 7" and is made of a very sturdy material (not sure what it is).
