authentic mid-century Connecticut State Flag manufactured by the legendary Annin & Co. at their historic Verona, New Jersey facility. Far superior to modern polyester reproductions, this premium historical piece is crafted from Annin’s iconic "Defiance" brand 100% heavyweight woven cotton bunting, giving it a substantial feel and rich texture. It features a beautifully detailed central state coat of arms with the classic Latin motto scroll ("Qui Transtulit Sustinet"), flanked by a sturdy canvas header and its original brass display grommets. The flag is in excellent vintage condition with its two-color factory ink stamp remaining remarkably crisp, bright, and legible. The blue cotton fabric retains its deep, vibrant color, showing only original packaging folds and a mild, authentic patina consistent with its estimated 1940s–1960s age.
