Fair vintage condition with age-related wear. “Munchkinland” and “Ding, Dong, the Witch Is Dead” have their matching lids. “Optimistic Voices” and “If I Only Had a Brain” have mismatched lids. Additional wear may include surface marks, scratches, dust, minor paint loss, and wear to the gold-colored trim.

No original boxes, certificates, or paperwork are included. Delicate projecting details should be examined closely in the photographs.

Description

Charming lot of four vintage Ardleigh-Elliott music boxes from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz Music Box Collection. Each piece features an elaborate, hand-painted dimensional scene inspired by characters and songs from the classic film.

Included in this lot:

• Munchkinland – Second issue, 1995, No. 73142; matching lid
• If I Only Had a Brain – Third issue, 1996, No. 73143; mismatched lid
• Optimistic Voices – Fourth issue, 1996, No. 73144; mismatched lid
• Ding, Dong, the Witch Is Dead – Seventh issue, 1997, No. 73147; matching lid

All four bases retain their original identifying labels and handwritten production numbers. The collection was produced under license from Turner Entertainment.
