Vintage Bollywood Postcard Featuring Actress Vijayeta Pandit
Up for sale is a rare original picture postcard of Bollywood actress Vijayeta Pandit (also spelled Vijayta / Vijeta). This 1980s studio portrait shows her with long dark hair, gold necklace and earrings, a silver bracelet, and an orange long-sleeve top with “Paris” written in script, looking back over her shoulder against a red background.
Vijayeta Pandit is best known for Love Story (1981) opposite Kumar Gaurav, and also appeared in films such as Poonam (1981), Khud-Daar (1982) and Raaj Tilak (1984). She is the sister of singer-actress Sulakshana Pandit.
A nice piece for collectors of 1980s Bollywood actresses or Love Story-era memorabilia.
