Vintage Case Tested XX 2 Knife Set Red & Green Bone Matching Numbers Box COA For Sale

Beautiful vintage W.R. Case & Sons “Case Tested XX” Limited Edition two-knife collector’s set, featuring genuine red bone and genuine green bone handles, matching serial numbers, presentation box, fitted insert, and Certificate of Authenticity.

Believed to date to circa 1987, this set is approximately 39 years old. It commemorates the historic 1920–1940 Case Tested XX era, rather than being manufactured during that period.

The included certificate states that production was limited to 3,000 matched serial-number sets. Each knife features richly colored jigged bone handles, a stainless steel clip-point blade, a raised gold-colored Case shield, and a “Case Tested XX” blade etching. The blades display two different variations of the historic logo.

Details:

• R6111½ SS: Genuine red bone handle.

• G6111½ SS: Genuine green bone handle.

• Matching serial number 2138, engraved within the long-tail C design on each front bolster.

• Single folding blade on each knife.

• Case XX USA tang markings.

• Made in the USA.

• Includes both knives, presentation box, fitted insert, and Certificate of preserved vintage collectible condition, with bright blades and attractive jigged bone handles. Metal fittings show light surface marks and age-related patina.

Includes the original labeled Case presentation box, identifying both knife patterns and the “Case Tested XX Commemorative Set,” with a vintage sharpening-instruction and guarantee label on the underside.

An attractive complete set for a Case knife collection or vintage American cutlery display.
