Extreemly detailed, hand-painted porcelain sculpture of the Apollo 11 Splashdown, measuring 9.5˝ x 9.5˝ x 7˝. "National Space Society, Splashdown, Hand Painted Porcelain, c 1992 The Franklin Mint" stamped on the bottom. Fine bisque porcelain material ,decorated with accents of 24-karat gold, the sculpture was issued by the National Space Society in honor of the Apollo 11 mission. In used fair condition. Disclosure: One of the spires broke off and was repaired using superglue. This is shown in the pictures of the listing. There is some yellow discoloration on the wave of the spire between the blue and white coloring visible from both the front and back sides. See5th and 8th close up pictures of the listing. There is also some wear on the bottom of this item (not visible when sitting upright). This is shown in the 9th close up picture. Does not include original box or papers.
