Vintage wooden dental cabinet with 9 drawers and an aluminum bracket on the right. The cabinet was made by Guy Manufacturing of Worthington, MN, and on the inside, there is a stamp that has "Aug 61", which may be the date of manufacture.
I couldn't find any information about this company via Google, so I contacted the Nobels County Historical Society. The information they sent was that the company was founded by Guy Willams and Jay Hvistendahl in 1947. The Historical Society also sent me a picture of a nearly identical dental cabinet they have in their collection.
The cabinet has been used and has wear and some damage, including the handle, which is torn and can't be used to carry it, but is in good condition overall, looks amazing, and could be used to store just about anything.
The cabinet measures 15 inches tall (about 1 inch taller if you include the handle when it is on its side), 14 1/4 inches wide (16 1/8 inches wide including the aluminum bracket on the right), and 10 3/8 inches deep. The handles on the drawers extend about 5/8 inch. The drawers are between 1 1/16 and 3 1/16 inches tall.
Please see pictures for condition. As mentioned, the handle on top is torn on one side - see picture 18. One of the posts in one of the drawers is missing and there is staining around where it was located - see picture 12. There was originally a metal rod that fit into a hole on the top and extended down into the back of each of the drawers - this was to keep the drawers from opening, and there was a loop at the top for a lock (see picture 18) - this rod is missing.
Let me know if you have questions.
Thanks,Alex
