A Pair of South Western Hammered Copper & Pine Bookends, c. Mid 20th Century. This Pair of Bookends would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each bookends is crafted of solid pine which shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep original finish. The front of each Bookend shows a hammered copper plate which displays a South Western motif of a man in sombrero - It's quite unique. This Pair would accommodate a small to large book collection and includes metal bottom rest supports. The underside of each bookend is unmarked of signed.
Condition:
This Pair of Bookends was exceptionally well made, they're both solid and sturdy. Mild surface scratches and finish blemishes are shown from age. A small finishing nail is missing from one of the copper panels.
