French Bread Brown and Serve. Would display nicely or use as prop. I believe it’s from the 1950s and/or 1960s. Measures 17” long (15”when closed) x 8”. The Ingredients are not listed, I believe Wonder Bread started listing ingredients in the 1970s. The Taggart Baking Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, began producing Wonder Bread for a debut on May 21, 1921, following a blind promotion with ads that only stated was coming on that date. Continental Baking Co purchased Taggart in 1925. This made Wonder Bread a national brand. In the 1930s, Continental Baking began marketing Wonder Bread in sliced form nationwide, one of the first companies to do so.
