While going through our inventory of axe heads, we found this small size unmarked head in nice condition and refurbished it. It was cleaned, polished and sharpened. Because of the small size we felt that a Boy Scout Axe label would be appropriate. This is an original label from the Maine Axe Company that was located in Oakland, Maine many years ago. This is an uncommon label and collectable by itself. The head measures 4 1/4" long with a 2 3/4" wide cutting edge and weighs 1 lb. Sharp cutting edge. A dandy little axe head for your collection.
