Metal. One side (an end side) is bent but I am not trying to straighten it. This is NOT thin like aluminum, but bent probably means weaker, and I don’t want to weaken such a great momento.

• The exposition took place in Piedmont Park for 100 days, welcoming around 800,000 visitors.
• The event aimed to foster trade between southern states and South American nations and showcase the region's resources and achievements of women and African Americans.
• Most of the buildings constructed for the fair, including the Woman's Building pictured, were temporary structures and were demolished afterward. There was even a lake put in!
• The fairgrounds were later sold to the city and turned into Piedmont Park.
