ITEM: Antique October 26th 1907 Real Photo Post Cards of the football game between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Marietta College. West Virginia is identified as Mograntown on the cards. One card is titled A Crowd of Rooters at Marietta-Morgantown Foot-Ball Game and shows a large well-dressed crowd of Marietta fans in the stands with pennants, banners & hats cheering on Marietta. The second card is live game action titled Wedow Kicking Goal From Field Winning Game For Marietta Against Morgantown and shows the ball in the air heading for the uprights as the contest is being decided. Marietta won 4-2. Card with crowd has hand written on the back 1907 and the live game action card has hand written on the back October 26th 1907, Game played at Parkersburg, Score M-4 WVU 2
