Up for sale is an authentic, original 1934–1935 New York Central Lines promotional brochure celebrating the historic debut of “The Commodore Vanderbilt.” This scarce piece of railroad ephemera highlights what was billed as the \"World\'s First Streamlined High Powered Steam Locomotive,\" featuring beautiful black-and-white photography of the Art Deco giant, along with an interior side-by-side scale comparison with the 1831 DeWitt Clinton train. The leaflet is in very nice vintage condition with standard historical fold lines and minor edge wear consistent with its 90-year age, but it remains fully intact with crisp graphics and clean text. A fantastic addition to any collection of 1930s Streamline Era or New York Central memorabili.
