vintage scientific color-reference set,The item is the ISCC–NBS Centroid Color Charts, Standard Sample No. 2106, produced by the U.S. National Bureau of Standards in cooperation with the Inter-Society Color Council. The edition the mid-1960s (1964/1965). a standardized color-reference system. A complete set contains 18 charts with color samples in original envelope(opened) each corresponding to an ISCC-NBS color designation and associated Munsell notation. These were intended for scientific, industrial, conservation, textile, archaeological, and other applications where people needed to communicate color consistently.
