Antique 1/6 Plate Tintype Mother & Child, Thermoplastic Union Case, Peck, Lilies For Sale

This is sixth plate size tintype with a mother holding a toddler, under glass with a lovely gilt frame. The case is brown thermoplastic with lilies and grapes. Inside back cover under image reads S. Peck & Co. . The case measures 3 1/4“ x 3 & 3/4”.

Condition of the image is good, frame also looks nice with a little bit of crushing to the right side brass. Hinges and catch work well. There is some light wear to the case, including a couple of edge nibbles. Images of the case have been lightened for detail, be sure to enlarge for best idea of condition.
