Beautiful antique Jean Pouyat Limoges (J.P.L.) France porcelain beverage set, dating to approximately the late 1800s/early 1900s.
The pitcher is marked on the bottom “J.P.L. France,” identifying the porcelain as Jean Pouyat Limoges, France. The hand-painted decoration on the pitcher is also artist signed “M.H. Dorothy”
This 6-piece set includes a tall 11-inch tankard-style pitcher and 5 - 3.75\" matching cups/mugs. Each piece features colorful hand-painted clusters of purple and red grapes with green leaves, complemented by rich gold decoration.
Pitcher holds 7 cups, cups hold 1 cup
A wonderful surviving antique Limoges set for collectors of French porcelain, hand-painted china, grape/vine motifs, or Victorian/Edwardian tableware.
Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with age-related wear, including some wear to the gold decoration. One cup missing more then others, There are no chips, cracks or repairs
