Antique D-Capper bottle capper marked “D-CAPPER, 761 20th St., Detroit, Mich.” This heavy cast iron bottle capper appears to date to the Prohibition era, circa 1920s–early 1930s.Features an adjustable height mechanism and hand-operated lever. The mechanism is still operational. Measures approximately 19 inches tall and 12 inches long.Shows substantial surface rust, oxidation, wear and aged patina throughout, consistent with its age. Great piece of vintage Detroit breweriana, industrial décor or primitive farmhouse décor.Exact manufacturing year is unknown.Ships fully insured with tracking. Pre-packaging photos taken.
