This is an authentic sterling silver squash blossom necklace and matching earring set by Navajo silversmith Doris Smallcanyon, signed "D. Smcyn on the reverse of the naja. Hand-stamped silver beads and fluted blossoms are each set with natural turquoise, leading to a crescent naja pendant centered with its own turquoise stone. The matching dangle earrings continue the same leaf-and-turquoise motif on fishhook wires, rounding out a cohesive, wearable set. The necklace measures 24 inches and weighs 116 grams with the earrings. You will find traditional Navajo stamping and hand-fabrication throughout all of the pieces. This set comes from a private Uxbridge, Massachusetts estate collection belonging to a collector with a genuine, lifelong connection to Native American heritage and culture.
