This is the original published artwork for Page 15 of Batgirl #9 from DC Comics, from the early Cassandra Cain era of the Batgirl series.

The Cassandra Cain Batgirl series has developed a particularly devoted following over the years, and original published artwork has the wonderful advantage of being genuinely finite. There is only one original Page 15 from Batgirl #9.

The characters actually had a strange little life outside comics, including appearances connected to television productions such as Yes, Dear and Entourage, making this one of those wonderfully weird artifacts from the early-2000s independent comics world.

Yes, somehow I also have my own baseball card.
After comics, I went on to build a career as a marketing executive, entrepreneur, speaker and founder of The Idea Integration Co., working with brands including Nike, , FreshBooks, Xero and others.

This is original working production artwork and should be expected to exhibit the normal characteristics of comic-book production art, including possible pencil/blue-line marks, editorial or production notation, handling and other evidence of the process used to create the published page.
Those aren't defects to me. They're part of why owning original comic art is so damn cool. You're looking at the physical object that went through the production process before becoming the comic.
Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.

WHY I'M SELLING
I've accumulated a lot of comics, original art, sports memorabilia and assorted things that seemed like an excellent idea to buy at the time.
I'm now thinning parts of the collection to make room and fund some new acquisitions.
My philosophy has become pretty simple: I'd rather have a smaller collection of things I absolutely love than a giant collection of things sitting unseen in portfolios and boxes.
This is a legitimately cool piece of published Batgirl history, and I'd rather see it hanging on the wall of someone who loves Cassandra Cain or original DC art.
