This BEAUTIFUL cotton 1930's "trip around the world" / postage stamp quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a cheery red print border, and overall rainbow configuration. There are more than 3300 postage stamp pieces measuring 1 1/3" per side.It measures 82" X 90" and is in good condition, with the occasional light spot and no wear, except for the occasional weakness just at the edge of the binding in places.
There is straight line quilting throughout at 6-7 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid red, and the batting is thin.
The CHEERY COLORS and EYE CATCHING DESIGN make this vintage beauty stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
