• Back in 1985, Dave Sim and his background artist Gerhard, did a series of six prints (plates) in a portfolio titled "CEREBUS the first fifth."
• These prints were a representation of the Cerebus saga and said characters over the course of the first fifth of the epic 300 issue run.
• There were six different prints---limited to a strict 100 pcs each of black and white, and then even more scarce, limited to just 30 hand colored pieces (colored by Gerhard).
• This plate is signed and numbered 25/30
• I was lucky enough to have four of these, directly from Dave Sim himself back in 1998. I never thought that I would have to sell these, and I know I'm probably asking a premium, but I also know these are impossible to find. I have the other plates listed in separate listings---one more color and two B&W. Please check my other listings. Thank you!
