Identification Features The design features aVisvakarma(the celestial architect/engineer) symbol or specialized tools that represent labor, craftsmanship, and industry, rather than the scholar's book and fan of the Monisaraphon. The ribbon for the Medal of Labor features ared center with yellow and blue edges(in the modern/1948 version), distinct from the solid golden-yellow ribbon of the Monisaraphon.
