Her Majesty, The Queen‘s Platinum Jubilee-1952 to 2022
This limited edition of 1500 fine bone china mugs has been specially designed to commemorate Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 glorious years on the throne.
Her ‘Herdy’ Majesty is portrayed the famous dress from the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, when The Queen appeared beside Daniel Craig is the short film “Happy & Glorious” and, with a twinkle in her eye uttered the iconic line “ Good evening Mr. Bond”.
The Queen’s outfit was designed by Angela Kelly, The Queen’s dresser. The striking cocktail dress was made from silk and lace beaded with crystals and pearls. The color was chosen so the ‘Queen’ stood out against the crowd, as she parachuted from the helicopter, and also so it couldn’t be associated with any other competing nations. The outfit was completed with the stunning King William IV diamond brooch, feather fascinator, black gloves and an evening bag.
Her ‘Herdy’ Majesty is depicted with one of her loyal corgis, Monty, who also played a starring role in the film.
This fine bone china mug is made entirely in the Staffordshire Potteries.
