Thank you for looking,This recent find is from the Estate of a Retired US ARMY Officer and NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer who worked on Apollo through Space Shuttle programs. This listing is for a *RARE* RS25 THRUST VALVE (from actual firings/tests) NASA TEAM VALVE LAB AWARD. During this time NASA was testing the RS25 Rocket Engine and thrust valves - see details below:
- Thrust Valve Base has engraved NASA LOGO - TEAM VALVE LAB - 14 individual names
- Metal attached "tag" engraved - "PMT SEPTEMBER 30th 2015"
- Manufacturer metal attached label - "FLUID MECHANICS HOUSTON" along with other numbers/codes, etc.
- AFCO 1-1500-316-?B3 (hard to read) engraved on side of base
- Other initials and carvings on the thrust valve
- Appx. 11"H x 5" (diameter)
- While this is not a large piece, it is a very heavy, solid piece
