Navajo Indian Kingman Turquoise Nuggets & Sterling Silver Bench Beads Necklace:
$214.63
Being offered is a vintage Navajo Indian made jewelry necklace. This is an exceptional necklace crafted from large size turquoise stone nugget beads. The turquoise stone nuggets come from various mines and predominantly include Kingman, Bisbee, and other types. The necklace has various design beads. In the center are a series of the old hand made bench beads which are sterling silver. These actually have hand stamped designs which are hard to see. There are a series of machine stamped and made sterling silver beads. The remaining beads are smaller and some do show a seam but these are difficult to test. The cones are sterling silver and one is stamped. The necklace shows typical age related wearing but is in good shape. The necklace is approx. 29" long and weighs approx. 171 grams. I would estimate about 750 carats of turquoise with a conservative value of at least $350 in turquoise stone.
