FUN FACT: Mangano or Manganoan Calcite is a rare Pink Calcite which contains a type of Manganese. It is usually more opaque and less \"stripey\" than regular Pink Calcite. It has become common practice for any type of Pink Calcite to be identified as Mangano Pink Calcite. Real Mangano Calcite will have opaque and/ormilky hues - as well as pits, crevices and textured material. It\'s also UV Reactive (although, other types of pink Calcite can be as well). Mangano Calcite is almost always found in Bulgaria or Peru. Location source is another indicator for authentication.
